Ku - Millions

It’s one of these rare ocassions that after the song is over, it takes time to realise what is this that you’ve just heard! All the emotions and thrills being in a state of trance while the adrenaline has launched you in outer space!!! Is it possible to co-exist in one song the baroque folk melodies with the Italo disco synth frenziness and the progressive rock aggresion and still sound like a cohesive song???? Well, Greek producer Ku managed to pull something that seemed almost impossible! Millions is carrying three decades in its organism, brilliantly joining the dots with absolute precision and finally offering one of the best songs you’ll probably get to hear in 2013!!!

Fantastikoi Hxoi - Beyond The Remains

It’s been 4 years for FH (Fantastikoi Hxoi) to complete his second but first official album. In 2008 Masters Of The Universe was a sonic revelation for anyone who had the fortune to listen to it. The samples that he used from the ’60s (mostly) Greek music scene were perfectly matched with the kraut and motorik psychedelic manipulations of his. Now, his self titled album came along with a more variable palette and a more adventurous character. The easy listening is mixed with kraut and the motorik anger has soften up with the ethiopian jazz, creating a volcano of space infused sounds with the hot lava looking like the perfect place to dive in.
