Gone are the new age references from the original but it carries the same dark, suffocated and toxicated rhythmology of a lightless future! The Grecian duo brings on the floor some heavyweight bass driven perspective and along with the psychedelic synths that are spreading throughout the piece are about to launch this baby to a futureless outter space!!!
”Hello Hammerheads” appeared on Caribou’s album ”The Milk Of Human Kindness” and it was one of the standout tracks that popped out from there! It’s kinda risky to do a cover on any of Caribou’s songs but Dozen Draft’s take on this particular track shows a ’70s psychedelic, tropical folk side that suits perfectly on Caribou’s universe!!!

Grecian wonder band Baby Guru touches Velvet Underground’s flower pop opus ”Candy Says” and the result is rather magnificent. I loved the David Bowie, Space Oddity era, touch they gave where it elevates this cover in a truly and madly captivating experience.
Baby Guru are in the works for their second album which will be out sometime this year. In the meantime you can download their cover on ”Candy Says” over at the web culture magazine Ough!.

Soap & Skin - Voyage Voyage (Desireless Cover)
As you all know, Soap & Skin will return in February 13th with her next musical installment called ”Narrow” LP. Listen to the wonderful macabre piano cover of ”Voyage Voyage”, a 1986 song written by Jean-Michelle Privat and performed by the French singer Desireless. This version of the song was also used at the ”Stillleben” trailer back in September, a film directed by Sebastian Meise.
