Modern Girls - Made Their Run

While listening to the self titled debut 12” by Baltimore’s duo Modern Girls, i felt gripped with nostalgia about the ’90s music. Not that their music is purely based in the past but the whole feeling is an underground ode to that decade. The time when electronic music started to co-exist with indie sounds. Made Their Run is a song that captures this essence, a Beck inspired electronic pop beauty with the whispering vocals floating around, noding to the drum machine to follow the rhythm that the synths are setting. This is a little diamond that the time machine brought to us!!!

Well, the 17 year old producer Stillsound from Okinawa, Japan is too cool to deal with these things.
