Four girls from Italy, one band. Winter Severity Index are Simona Ferruci, Diana Salzo, Elyria and Valentina Mushy (yes, the ”Faded Heart” Mushy!) and while their five songs are floating around the internet for more then a year, their self titled EP is available for purchase for just about a month now. The sound of Winter Severity Index is reminiscent of The Organ. Remember them? I still can’t forget the guitars from ”Brother” but Winter… are aiming for a darker touch into their songs and they actually get it.
