If you made your ”walk” through the blogosphere this morning, you might have noticed that Chicago based guy Willis Earl Beal is going to release his ”Acousmatic Sorcery” album on March 20th through Hot Charity/XL Recordings. The single ”Evening’s Kiss” is streaming all around the net but another track from his forthcoming debut album has caught my attention! The raw bluesy tone of ”Close To Me” is a catchy motherfucker that impresses through it’s simplicity and through out the powerful performance of Willis Earl Beal. I don’t know if this version of the song is going to be used into the LP but you SHOULD check it out.
”Acousmatic Sorcery” LP is out on 20th March 2012 through Hot Charity/XL Recordings.
